I just had a totally crazy insane week. And it shows.
We started building on Little Women costumes this week. Few things give me a high like the feeling I get when I draw a design and walk into the costume shop a week later and see my drawing come to life. It really is a totally cool experience. The costumes are coming along beautifully. I'm a little concerned about my civil war soldier costumes. The process is being more complicated than I expected. The good thing is that I have more of a budget than I thought, so I have a lot of wiggle room now.
I also got asked to design the set this week. I've never really done that before. I mean, I sort of did in a class, but never a real set for a real play. It was kind of scary. And they needed it by Thursday. Yikes. Amy (the director) liked it tho, I think. But it made my week kind of stressful. I couldn't think of anything else for 2 0r 3 days. But now it's mostly done. Hooray!!!
I was so tired last night that I went to bed at 8:30. And I might do it again tonight.
