Summertime

So, what are you doing with your summer?

Waiting.

Waiting to see if this baby comes this week, or next week, or the week after. Waiting to see if he is healthy and well behaved enough to go to a niece's baptism, a cousin's wedding, a family camping trip. Waiting to find out what impact adding a new family member is going to have on our current family, and especially our independent three-year-old.

Will we be at the concert, or the church picnic, or the family golf tournament?

Maybe.

I'll tell you at the end of this week. Or next week. Or the week after.

But right now we're waiting.
