A little busy right now...

So I haven't been posting as much as I want to, but I'd thought I'd pop in and let you all know what we've got going right now.

• Tulip Festival is coming! And I am on the Tulip Court costume committee, which means I've been busy with fittings and alterations for the Court's escorts and pages.
• I'm also sewing Dutch costumes for Ethan and I with the help of my mom and grandmas (Thanks!). Ethan is going to be singing with Fietsen Zangers (Dutch bicycle singers), and I will be chaperoning the Tulip Court, so we both need costumes this year!
• The college school year is wrapping up, and so I'm also wrapping things up in the costume studio. There are lots of student projects, picnics, and other end-of-the-year celebrations happening!
• I'm looking for a summer job. I've been hoping to work at Blue Mountain again, but with the recent fire, I'm not sure when they'll be open.
• Next week is the week before Mother's Day! Which means I'll be helping out at the florist for the week.
• We are preparing for Jacen's preschool registration. We went to an open house this week, and it was fun to see a lot of the families that we will be interacting with throughout Jacen's school years.
• Ethan has been busy with the Orange City Young Professionals Group. He's serving on their civic committee and service committee, and is involved in many of their activities. Today they are cleaning up the park and serving hamburgers afterward.
• Ethan also celebrated the 1 year anniversary of his business! We celebrated by treating our families to a dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

That's all I can come up with for now. Hopefully it won't be quite so long before I post on here again, but we''l see if I have time! Hope all are well!
